Commissioned by The Whitney Museum at Altria, as part of the Resonant Space Festival and Performance on 42nd Series
Migrations featured 4 dancers, perched on narrow platforms installed in the window structure of the Altria's Whitney Museum's lobby. Retained by harnesses allowing their bodies in motion to respond to a 45 degree lean over the audience below the dancers in isolated vertical space above appeared to be falling over the audiance. Migrations explored the dynamic landscapes of the body in the "in between" spaces of urban transit and people's physical relationships to time and the environment.
